Digital Transformation in a Community-Based Real Estate Business
Toyoshiki Real Estate Co., Ltd.

Toyoshiki Real Estate Co., Ltd. aims to create a new real estate business model that grows with its community, combining a community-based operation in Toyoshiki, Kashiwa City, and a nationwide corporate real estate operation based in Akihabara, Tokyo.
President and CEO
Mr. Takahiro Hanashi
The company operates two core business units: a locally-oriented real estate service based in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, and a commercial real estate division headquartered in Tokyo, specializing in business-use properties.
Both areas of the business are seeing robust growth, prompting efforts to expand the team in preparation for further development.
As the volume and complexity of internal data grow, efficient information sharing and accumulation have become critical. To address this, Toyoshiki Real Estate has identified DX and AI utilization as key enablers of sustainable growth. As part of their DX efforts, the company adopted REMETIS. We interviewed Mr. Hanashi to learn about the impact of this initiative.
Problem
・Due to the community-based nature of the business, ongoing collection and sharing of local information was essential.
・Reliance on individuals hindered company-wide knowledge sharing.
・The company needed a scalable system for managing information in anticipation of future team expansion.
Solution
・Centralized data management significantly reduced time spent on gathering and organizing information.
・This enabled accurate, data-driven analysis using internal information.
・Established a foundation for internal digital transformation and improved information use.
Please tell us about Toyoshiki Real Estate Co., Ltd.'s real estate business and the characteristics of the division to which you belong.
Hanashi
Our company’s headquarters is in Toyoshiki, Kashiwa City, Chiba, where we operate a community-based real estate business. We also have an office in Tokyo. Our operations include property acquisition and resale, brokerage, rental property management, and consulting services for landowners.
For industrial properties, roadside commercial spaces, and development land for retail locations, we handle transactions on a nationwide scale.
We are currently prioritizing property acquisition. With team expansion underway, we are strengthening our internal structure to accommodate a wider range of properties, including residential, industrial, and commercial assets.
In principle, we do not limit ourselves to specific property types, and we are often involved in highly specialized projects.

What were some of the business challenges you faced prior to implementing REMETIS?
Hanashi
One of the main issues we faced was that property-related information was too dependent on individual team members. This resulted in difficulties building a centralized knowledge base across the company, and we often felt that this was limiting our potential.
Given our community-oriented business model, it was also critical to continuously collect and organize local market information—a challenge we knew we needed to address.
Although our property acquisition team is currently small and highly specialized, we wanted to build a framework that would allow smooth information sharing regardless of who was handling the task.
As we aim to grow our business and become a top-tier real estate company in the region, solving these challenges became a top priority.
How did you find out about REMETIS?
Hanashi
We discovered REMETIS at a trade exhibition where one of our sales executives tried a demo. He had the opportunity to try out a brief demo and immediately felt that the tool could be highly beneficial for our operations.
At the time, we were primarily relying on spreadsheets to manage our workflow. After carefully comparing several other tools, we determined that REMETIS was the most compatible with our business structure and goals.
Why did you decide to implement REMETIS to solve this problem?
Hanashi
One of the major reasons we chose REMETIS was how user-friendly and intuitive the property registration process was.
Additionally, the platform offers a wide range of features that are highly practical for both acquisition and brokerage work—for example, tools for zoning searches, obtaining legal documents, and viewing all necessary information on a map in a single interface.
We were confident that REMETIS would significantly boost our sales team’s efficiency, which ultimately led to our decision to implement it.

What were the challenges you faced when implementing REMETIS?
Hanashi
As REMETIS is a comprehensive and multifunctional platform, we initially had some reservations regarding our ability to utilize its full range of capabilities. There were concerns that certain features might go underused. However, we quickly found that the system was well-aligned with our operational needs, and we were able to begin using it effectively from the outset.
Cost can also present a barrier to adoption for small and medium-sized enterprises. During our evaluation process, we carefully considered the expected return on investment. What ultimately facilitated our decision was the guidance we received from RESTAR’s sales team regarding the availability of IT implementation subsidies. Thanks to this support, the outcomes we’ve experienced have significantly surpassed our original expectations.
Please share your honest impressions after using REMETIS.
Hanashi
Both I and the sales team members who have used REMETIS since its introduction feel that it’s an excellent solution that effectively addresses the challenges we faced.
We also use the number of entries registered in REMETIS as a performance indicator in our daily operations. This has encouraged each team member to take ownership of their use of the platform, while also fostering greater awareness of market trends and information gathering. I believe this shift in mindset is having a very positive impact across the organization.
How has the use of REMETIS changed your business?
Hanashi
The number of registered property cases has grown steadily since we began using REMETIS. Our sales support team is actively inputting cases each day, and the system’s intuitive interface has allowed us to reduce the time spent on data collection and organization by roughly one hour per day.
As the database continues to grow, we’re steadily accumulating a wealth of case studies and examples. This has created a positive cycle of internal knowledge building.
When acquiring properties or providing brokerage services, we can now easily refer to relevant past cases in our internal database, such as examples of similar transactions in the same area.
This shift—from relying heavily on online resources to leveraging our own internal data—has been a major improvement.
We still use external data as reference, but being able to supplement that with actual past performance data stored in REMETIS has led to more informed decisions and improved the accuracy of our market analysis.

We assume that the implementation of REMETIS is part of your company's efforts to promote digital transformation. What do you consider to be important in your company's digital transformation?
Hanashi
We aim to accumulate company knowledge while maintaining speed in our business operations.
In real estate, sales representatives are often flooded with unstructured information. Organizing and managing that information effectively is critical, and REMETIS plays a central role in supporting that process.
We also store property data, contracts, and related documents in the cloud, and integrate these with internal communication systems to facilitate seamless information sharing across the organization.
By ensuring smooth interconnectivity between systems, we’re able to boost efficiency. We view digital transformation as a necessity and are continually exploring new and more effective ways of working.
What do you hope to see from REMETIS in the future?
Hanashi
I believe that expanding data integration and broadening the range of information within REMETIS would enhance its practicality in our day-to-day operations.
Additionally, the ability to access new types of real estate-related data directly through the platform would further enrich the insights we can draw and open up new possibilities for usage.
